We lose a thriller at home to Newton Abbot in the Over 55's

Well, what can I say, Today we played top of the table Newton Abbot in the Over 55's. 2 great rinks with excellent camaraderie betwee all of the players. Unfortunately, Kevin lost his rink after sharing ends 9 a piece, 10-17. /it came down to Stuarts rink to salvage a draw or even a win overall. Going into the 18th end, we were winning 13-9. We were holding 3 (so a tie overall was on), but Nigel bowled his last wood through the narrowest of gaps to take shot. So we won Stuarts rink, but lost overall 23-27.
